Template:Infobox ProducerThe only female student who is enrolled in the Producer Course. Anzu is meant to be the player. She is characterized as a shy girl with a small voice, but is nonetheless hardworking.
Appearance
While she has no visual as of yet, it was implied that Anzu is of below average height and has brown hair that reached her shoulders, and according to Sora she has light blue eyes. She wears her old school uniform under her pink cardigan and Yumenosaki academy's blue blazers. During winter, she wears them with tights. Also, her cup size is B.
Trivia
- Anzu is the default name for the player. It is possibly derived from the game's title, "Ensemble Stars!" (Ansanburu Sutaazu), taking the An from Ansanburu and the zu from Sutaazu.
- Her dialogue choices and actions in the story display more personality as seasons progress, perhaps hinting she learns to open up to the idols as time passes.
- She's the stepsister of the protagonist of Ensemble Girls!.
- Several people had mentioned that Anzu is like a cat, such as Yuzuru, and she even did cat's [ nyaa~ ] when Yuzuru said that.
- Anzu was supposed to transfer to the normal course, but for some reason transferred to the producer course instead.
- The Novel and the Anime are the only adaptions that feature her. The Novel gives an insight on Anzu's thoughts.
Spoilers:
- As revealed by the Ensemble Girls! prologue stories, Anzu was a former student at the all-girls Kimisaki school. She was in the tea club and was best friends with Suzu Kuromori. Also, everyone called her Angie (アンジ). In the end, due to some events, Anzu was forced to transfer.
- In 1001 Arabian Nights Rei believes Anzu's submissive personality is because she was betrayed in the past and lost confidence in her own judgment due to that.
- As it turns out, he's right. Back at her time at the Kimisaki school, Anzu was the leader of a rebellion campaign against the school's strict rules. Sakura Itou didn't like this and requested Reika Enjouji, the student council president at the time to have Anzu abdicate the position as club president with the teacher's aid. But the teachers see it as a chance to get Anzu out of the school due to her actions that have her marked as a troublemaker and encouraged the other students to bully her. Eventually causing Anzu to have enough and leave.
- After the events of Ensemble Girls and Ensemble Girls Memories, Anzu has reconciled with her friends from Kimisaki.
- If Ensemble Girls! is to be believed, Anzu's younger brother is currently attending the Kimisaki school as the sole male student. But other official media say that he's in Yumenosaki's normal course. Given Leo Tsukinaga was stated to be in college during a conversation with his little sister, it is likely he transferred after the events of Stars!.
